Steps to Test an SMS Template

1. Access the SMS Broadcast Module

  • Go to the Broadcasting module.
  • Select SMS Broadcast from the options.
  • Navigate to Broadcast History.
  • Click on Create Broadcast and start setting up your SMS campaign.

2. Configure Your SMS Broadcast

  • Enter SMS Broadcast Name.
  • Select DLT Template.
  • Choose Sender ID and Template Type.
  • Map custom variables if required.
  • Click Continue.

3. Test the SMS Template

  • When you reach the "When to Send" section, click on the Test SMS button at the top.
  • Enter one or multiple test phone numbers in the following format:
    • +91xxxxxxxxxx,+91xxxxxxxxxx (No spaces between numbers)
  • Note:
    ✅ If multiple recipients, separate phone numbers with a comma.
    Tracking will not be enabled for test messages.
    Credits will be deducted based on the number of test messages sent.

Click on the Send button to proceed.

4. Verify the Test SMS

  • Check the received test SMS for:

    • Correct variable replacements.
    • Proper formatting.
    • Message clarity and compliance with DLT-approved templates.
  • If changes are needed, edit the template before finalizing the broadcast.
