A Trigger is an event-based rule that begins an automation journey. Once a contact meets the defined criteria, the workflow starts — activating conditions and actions you've set.
Think of triggers as the "if this happens" part of your automation logic.

Navigate to the Automation module from the sidebar.

Click Create Automation or edit an existing journey.

The first block in every journey is Trigger — click to choose your trigger type.
