What is a Grid in Forms?

A Grid Layout in Geta.ai Forms helps structure form fields efficiently, allowing you to store single values in an organized manner. Grids are useful for capturing structured data such as names, email IDs, locations, and more.

Steps to Set Up a Grid in Forms

1. Access the Forms Module

  • Log in to your Geta.ai dashboard.
  • Navigate to the Forms module.
  • Click Create Form to build a new form or Edit an existing one.

2. Select a Grid Layout

  • In the Form Builder, locate the Grid Preview option.
  • Choose a grid type based on the information you want to collect:
    • Single Row – Stores a single value, e.g., Name.
    • 2 Columns – Stores two values, e.g., Name & Email ID.
    • 3 Columns – Stores three values, e.g., Country, State & City.
  • Click on a grid type, and it will appear in the layout screen.

3. Add Contact Fields to Grids

  • Drag and drop the relevant contact fields into the selected grid layout.
  • Example:
    • A Single Row Grid can store Name.
    • A 2 Column Grid can store Name and Email ID.
    • A 3 Column Grid can store Country, State, and City.

4. Save and Publish the Form

  • Click Save to store changes.
  • Click Publish to make the form live on your website or platform.
