Customise a Web-Bot
Customising a bot in Geta.ai allows you to personalise its appearance and conversation settings to align with your brand and improve user engagement. This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for customising your bot.
Steps to Customise a Bot-
Access the Customisation Section
Log in to your Geta.ai dashboard.
Navigate to the Bot Builder module and select the bot you want to customise.
Click on the Manage button under the selected bot to access the customisation options.
Customization Sections
The customisation section is divided into two parts:
1. Widget Appearance
Customise the visual elements of the bot interface to match your brand identity.
Look and Feel:
Upload a company logo.
Set a chatbot avatar.
Customise the chat and hover background colours.
Choose a font family and set font sizes for the chat interface.
Callout Settings:
Configure the Popup Position (e.g., bottom-right, bottom-left).
Set the Popup Text to attract user attention.
Notification Sound:
Enable and adjust the notification sound.
Set the volume range for notifications.
2. Conversation
Enhance the bot’s interaction settings to improve the user experience.
A. Set Notification Block:
Choose an Icon Style.
Configure Call to Actions:
Upload an image.
Add a title and description.
Set a button title and URL.
Add footer text.
B. Add Quick Menu:
Choose a Display View: Lists or Blocks.
Configure Button Actions:
Add a link or link the button to a specific bot flow.
Set the button title and URL.
C. Add Banner:
Upload a banner in image or video format.
Set Button Actions:
Add a link or connect the banner to a bot flow.
Add a banner link for further interaction.
D. Quick Replies
Allow users to instantly trigger specific bot flows with predefined buttons.
Enable the Quick Replies toggle.
Enter the Button Title (e.g., “Hello”, “Start Here”).
Select a Flow from the dropdown.
Select a Node where the user should be directed.
Click Create to add it.
Created quick replies will appear at the bottom of the chat.
