Creating Custom Contact View
1. Accessing the Views Menu
Log in to Geta.ai.
Go to the Contacts module.
Click the All Contacts dropdown at the top.
You will see three sections:
Favourites – views you have marked as favourite
Default Filters – built-in filters such as All Contacts, My Contacts, Unassigned Contacts
Created Views – custom views previously created by you or shared with you
2. Creating a New View
Click + Add View.
The Create New View panel opens.
Enter a View Name.
3. Sharing the View
Under Share with, click the dropdown.
Choose one of the three options:
Just Me – only you will see this view
Everyone – every user in the account can access this view
Selected Users – choose specific users who can see this view
If selecting Selected Users, open the dropdown again and choose one or multiple users.
Under Access Level, choose:
Can View – users can only view
Can View and Edit – users can view and make changes
If you want to restrict access back to yourself, switch back to Just Me.
4. Adding Filter Conditions
Filters control which contacts appear in your view.
Click Add Condition.
Choose a Contact Property (e.g., First Name, Created Time, Email, Lead Source, etc.).
Select an operator. Operators include:
Is – matches exactly
Is Not – must not match
Contains – includes the text
Does Not Contain – does not include the text
Starts With – begins with the text
Does Not Start With – does not begin with the text
Ends With – ends with the text
Does Not End With – does not end with the text
Is Empty – field has no value
Is Not Empty – field has some value
Greater Than – value is higher
Less Than – value is lower
Greater Than or Equal To – higher or equal
Less Than or Equal To – lower or equal
Between – value falls inside a given range
Not Between – value falls outside the range
Older Than N Days – created before the last N days
Not Older Than N Days – created within the last N days
Enter the comparison value when required (text, number, or date).
If adding multiple conditions, choose AND or OR:
AND – all conditions must be true
OR – any condition being true will show the contact
Click Apply to refresh results.
5. Choosing and Organizing Columns
In Column Preferences, search or scroll to find contact properties.
Select individual columns or click Select All.
The selected columns will appear on the right side.
Drag and reorder columns under Drag to Re-order columns.
Optionally, click the star icon to mark the view as a favorite.
6. Saving the View
After setting conditions and selecting columns, click Create View.
Your view will now be listed under Created Views (and under Favorites if marked).
Use the pencil icon to edit the conditions, sharing, or columns at any time.
Use the records per page dropdown (10/25/50) to control how many contacts appear per page.
7. Using Your Custom View
Once saved:
Only contacts matching your filter conditions will appear in the table.
Only the columns you selected will be displayed.
Shared users will see the view based on the access level you selected.
Result
You now have a custom contact view that displays only the contacts matching your conditions, with columns arranged the way you prefer. Your view will appear under:
Favorites (if marked as favorite)
Created Views
