Set the Callout Position of Whatsapp Bot

The callout position determines where the bot’s popup appears on your web page, allowing you to strategically place it for better visibility and user engagement. This guide explains how to set the callout position and customize the popup text in the Geta.ai platform.

Steps to Set the Callout Position

1. Access the Bot Builder

   • Log in to your Geta.ai dashboard.

   • Navigate to the Bot Builder module and select the Whatsapp bot you want to customize.

2. Go to the Customize Section

   • Click on the Manage button for the selected  Whatsapp bot.

   • In the bot settings, open the Customize section.

3. Set the Callout Position

   • In the Widget Appearance section, locate the Callout settings.

   • Adjust the Popup Position to choose where the bot popup will appear on the screen (e.g., bottom-right, bottom-left).

4. Customize the Popup Text

   • Enter the desired message in the Popup Text field to display a welcoming or action-inviting message to users.

5. Save Your Changes

   • After setting the callout position and popup text, click Save to apply the updates.

Tips for Optimal Callout Position

• Bottom-right is the most commonly used position, as it’s intuitive and doesn’t obstruct main content.

• Use Popup Text that grabs attention, such as "Need help? Chat with us!" or "Have questions? We’re here to assist!"
