Voices Configuration for Simple Voice Bot
The Voices section in Geta.ai allows you to choose how your Simple Voice Bot sounds during live calls. You can filter voices by language, gender, and locale, preview audio samples, and select the most suitable voice for your business use case.
This article walks you through the complete process of searching, previewing, and applying a voice to your Simple Voice Bot.
Before You Begin
Make sure:
You have access to the Bot Builder module.
A Simple Voice Bot is already created.
You are inside the Agent Setup screen of the Voice Bot.
Steps to Configure Voice for Simple Voice Bot
Step 1: Log in to Geta.ai
Log in to your Geta.ai account using your credentials.
Step 2: Open Bot Builder
From the left navigation menu, click on Bot Builder.
Step 3: Manage the Voice Bot
Locate your Simple Voice Bot and click on Manage.
Step 4: Open Voices Section
In the Agent Setup panel, click on Voices to open the voice selection screen.
Search and Filter Available Voices
Step 5: Search for a Voice (Optional)
Use the Search bar to find a specific voice by name.
Step 6: Browse Voice Templates
Scroll through the available voice templates displayed in the list.
Step 7: Filter by Language
Click on the Select Language dropdown and choose your preferred language
(for example: Spanish, English, German, Hindi, etc.).
Step 8: Review Voice Specifications
Check the Specification column to understand the voice locale and accent
(e.g., Spanish – Paraguay, Spanish – Mexico).
Step 9: Filter by Gender
Click on the Select Gender dropdown and choose:
Male, or
Female
You can clear or change the gender filter at any time.
Preview and Select a Voice
Step 10: Preview Audio Sample
Click the Play icon under Audio Sample to listen to a short preview of the voice.
Step 11: View Voice Details
Click on a voice name (for example, Tania) to open the detailed voice preview popup.
Step 12: Play Full Voice Sample
In the popup window, click the Play button to listen to the full sample.
Step 13: Close Preview
Close the popup once you are satisfied with the voice sample.
Step 14: Apply the Voice
Click on Use Voice for the selected voice.
Save Voice Selection
Step 15: Verify Selected Voice
Confirm the applied voice in the Selected Voice panel on the right side of the screen.
Step 16: Save Changes
Click on Save Changes to apply the selected voice to your Simple Voice Bot.
Configuration Complete 🎉
Your Simple Voice Bot is now configured with the selected voice and will use it during:
Preview calls
Live outbound or inbound voice interactions
You can change the voice anytime by revisiting the Voices section.
