How to Filter Inbox Conversations by Date

The Date-Wise Filter in the Inbox module helps you quickly view conversations from a specific time period. This is especially useful when reviewing past interactions, tracking agent performance, auditing conversations, or analyzing support activity for a particular date range.

Using this filter, you can combine date range and chat status to narrow down Inbox conversations precisely.


When Should You Use the Date-Wise Filter?

Use the Date-Wise Filter when you want to:

  • Review conversations from yesterday, last week, or a custom date range

  • Analyze closed or resolved chats for reporting

  • Audit customer interactions for a specific time period

  • Reduce Inbox clutter and focus on relevant conversations


How to Apply a Date-Wise Filter in Inbox

Follow the steps below to filter conversations by date in the Inbox module:

Step 1: Log in to Geta.ai

Log in to your Geta.ai account using your credentials.

Step 2: Open the Inbox Module

From the left navigation menu, go to the Inbox module.

Step 3: Open Filters

Click on the Filter icon available at the top of the Inbox.

Step 4: Select Date Range

From the filter options, click on Date Range.

Step 5: Choose Start and End Date

Select the Start Date and End Date for which you want to view conversations.

Step 6: Use Quick Date Options (Optional)

You can also select predefined options such as:

  • Yesterday

  • Today

  • Last 7 days

  • Last 30 days

Choose the option that best fits your requirement.

Step 7: Apply Date Filter

Click Apply to confirm the selected date range.


Applying Chat Status Filter (Optional)

You can further refine results using chat status filters.

Step 8: Open Chat Status Filter

Click on the Chat Status filter option.

Step 9: Select Status

Choose a status such as Closed, Open, or any other relevant option.

Step 10: Apply Filters

Click Apply Filters to finalize your selection.


View Filtered Conversations

Step 11: Review Results

The Inbox will now display all conversations that match the selected date range and chat status.

Step 12: Done

Your Inbox is now filtered successfully 🚀
